From the SL Help Menu, under Schema... Batch.Status AP and PR Check batch statuses K - Keep – The check batch has been printed and kept in the Check Update process (Keep All); but the release process has not been run for PR or AP APDoc.Status T - Temporary - temporary records for checks applied to vouchers before the checks are released. You should be able to find this Batch in the Release AP Batches screen. I would assume that the "Auto Release Batch During Keep" checkbox was not selected, and the Batch was "Kept", but just not Released.

The screens affected were BI.BAM.00 and PA.PRJ.00 For those who may run into this; try Synchronizing Database Ownership and Security after importing the PVRec file.

Any other ideas on this topic? SL 2015 CU1 with hotfixes; Windows 7 machine; using Webroot for antivirus Install done by a Domain Admin, Registry entries are correct and mapped to a drive letter; Even as an Domain Admin getting the System Message "Unable to locate the message file T:\Applications\MESSAGES.CSV" and then System Message 9867 "Message was not found in message file". Share on the server seems right the AD group on the SL directory has full control. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Not sure on next steps to resolve.

Thanks Mark, but checked that already. This is a 64 bit machine so we looked at the WOW6432Nod entry and it is using the mapped drive.

Good morning, I didn't see an answer to this one in the forum. We recently transitioned from GP to SL and noticed on checks to vendors that the Primary address is printing and not the remittance address. How can I pull a report to see what will print on the actual check for every vendor? When I go to quick query, I don't see an option for viewing an address other than the primary. TIA!

Aloha Laura, Not sure if this is the same issue, but we followed the Installation Guide (page 18. changes needed for UAC) and we no longer receive these errors. Basically, updated the Solomon.ini file to look for the message file in the users Public Documents folder. Then copied the messages.csv file to the folder. Hope this helps. Aloha, -Scott

I am trying to install Management Reporter 2012 CU15 with an upgrade to SL 2015 CU1. I am having an issue during the validation after setting up the configuration. It is telling me that the SL System database 'if NOT an application database'. Yes, it does say 'if'. I am logged in as administrator and using the administrator account as the service account for MR. Additional information: This is an SL upgrade for SL 6 to SL 2011 to SL 2015 CU1. The system database works fine for SL for each of the steps, but doesn't pass the validation of MR for SL 2011 or SL 2015. If I substitute an SL demo system database for either SL 2011 or SL 2015 the demo system database takes you to the next step for configuration of MR. Attached is a copy of the Validation Message I receive. Any ideas or suggestions on what could be the problem?

I was able to get this resolved. I re-ran the SL upgrade from SL 6 to SL 2011 and then to SL 2015 and whatever was flagging it as an error is now resolved. Thanks!

The change to the Solomon.ini for the messages.csv file and copying the file locally to that users directory got me past one error and on to the next! Now I am getting System Message 9867 The client components on this machine are not up to date. This situation can result when a Service Pack is installed on the server but not the client. Please apply updates to this client computer. I reapplied the hotfixes, they all said they were successful but one of them did not show the right version on the dll. I copied the Swimapi.dll to 2 places and SL finally launched but the menu was blank. The user did not have a Solomon.ini in their AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Dynamics SL directory. I copied the Solomon.ini from another workstation but then SL would not launch. I am going to start from scratch and uninstall and reinstall. Thanks for the initial assistance.

If you use the vendor details instead of the vendor address quick query then the remit address data is available. You will need to click on the header row and select choose columns so that you can add the remit address fields to your query results.

IS there a way to change payment types in ebanking after you entered a voucher but before you selected it for payment? Or even after you selected for payment but have not released payment batch?

Thank you! We have not be given any processes for this type of inquiry, and I hadn't stumble upon where the info might be. I'll look at this today.

Mark, I have this same issue with no GL records. I've set all my rlsed fields in both APDOC and APTRAN to 0 and my batch status is S and I receive this message. Did you ever get it figured out? Thanks, Steve

You say all data is validated via MR with no issues outstanding. Did you run the diagnostic script found in the below KB article? If not, run that and if you get results then follow the steps in the article. https://mbs.microsoft.com/knowledgebase/KBDisplay.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2931999 If you don’t get any results from this diagnostic script then in other cases I found the issue was with a blank CuryID somewhere which I would think the diagnostic script should find these but if it doesn’t then run the below scripts and verify the CuryID’s look correct. Run on application database select BaseCuryID, * from Ledger select CuryId, * from Currncy select BaseCuryId, * from GLSetup select * from GLTran where CuryId = '' select * from GLTran where BaseCuryID = '' select * from AcctHist where CuryId = '' select * from CuryAcct where BaseCuryID = '' select * from CuryAcct where CuryId = '' Run on system database select BaseCuryID, * from Company You could also go to the Configuration console and run the Run ERP data validation and then go to the Data Mart Integration logs and take a look at errors that may be there.

Hi there, How do i display the date AND time of a field (pjrefhdr.user7) on a screen. I have customised the Budget Revision Maintenance screen and added this field but only the date part seems to show even though there is a time part in the table in the database. Thanks

I am attempting to configure a Counter Sale order type in Dynamics SL OM version 2011 FP1. The key aspects I am attempting to configure are as follows: For Cash Sale customers: The user should be able to enter a shipper Finish the shipper But if a payment has not been entered block the printing of an invoice and put the shipper on hold. (hold or credit hold either way) If a payment has been entered, it should automatically print the invoice and close the shipper as normal. For Credit customers… the system should allow invoicing of course regardless. I attempted to configure the cash sale customer with terms/credit option of COD or with a credit limit of 0.01 however even when the customer exceeds the credit limit the invoice is still printed. Is there any way to stop the invoice for cash sale customers from printing if a full payment has not been entered?

You will need to install the SL 2015 Software Development Kit (SDK). Part of that kit include the SDK Conversion tool that you can use to convert SL 2011 projects to SL 2015 projects. Once a project is converted, you open it with VS 2013 and execute the build process. One side note: depending on how your SL 2011 project was created, you may find you have around 102 errors when you open the project with VS 2013. If that is the case, open the code window and go to protect properties and change the target framework to .NET Framework 4. That should remove the errors.

Rick, Do you need to have a license for SDK? I have a similiar situation where an application was developed in Dynamics 7.0 so I want to export that application to be used in SL 2015. I have never used SDK before, so any additional pointers will be appreciated. Thanks
