There are many tables that could be involved depending on your setup and your inventory valuation methods, etc. The best way to find what tables are involved is to run a trace in SQL Profiler and look for the Insert statements. I don't know what version of SQL Server you are using, but instructions and a template are attached to KB's 967955 for SQL 2008, 925033 for SQL 2005, and 936578 for SQL 2000.
